I wish I could do…..

I wish I could do a double back flip on the trampoline because it would be so fun. I can do a double front flip, a peanut roll, half ball out to 360, and a normal front flip. I love jumping on the trampoline because I can get really high.

My brother, Finn goes on the trampoline with me. Sometimes my baby brother Dekker does too. I use my trampoline every day that its nice weather. I like to watch videos on how to learn new tricks to do.

The most perfect place in the whole world….

The most perfect place in the world is my house because I live here. I also eat here, play here, and have my family here. I get to play video games in my playroom, and jump on the trampoline in my yard. I have my birthday parties here in the summer, and we always invite all of my friend and get a bounce house or water slide.

I love my house because we have a big yard and can throw a football. There’s room for my trampoline, a swing set and climber, and water slide. We are hopefully going to have a pool next Spring, and are getting a hot tub in a few weeks. My driveway has a basketball hoop and we play out there a lot too.

I get to have my own bedroom in my house. It’s connected to my brother Finn’s with big sliding barn doors, and we share a bathroom together. I like that my brothers room is connected to mine because after we get put to bed we talk together and share a bed sometimes.

What Makes a Mystery

A mystery story has something to find out. Ive been listening to mysteries and there’s always different characters, clues, suspects, distractions and a detective. In most mysteries there is a conclusion and evidence to prove who’s guilty or did something wrong.

A mystery story is special because there’s always different clues. Mysteries make you think about what’s in the next chapter. I like that they make you think about the clues.

Writer’s Workshop – Weather

The types of extreme weather are tornadoes, hurricanes, blizzards, thunderstorms and big fires. Extreme weather is when the weather around us is very different than normal. This weather could last from three hours to a long period of time.

Tornadoes are one of the scariest types of extreme weather. Tornados happen in very warm places. Tornados are made of condensation and dust and debris. A tornado can be seen when it creates a funnel cloud. Tornadoes are one of the strongest weathers, and can lift up cars. Tornado speed can begin at 40 miles per hour and can reach up tp 318 miles per hour.

Hurricanes are the largest storms on Earth. Hurricanes are considered tropical storms if their winds hit at least 119/km per hour. Hurricanes rarely make thunder and lightning, but they do bring lots of rain and flooding.

A blizzard is a heavy snowstorm with cold temperatures. Blizzards can cause a lot of damage to buildings. A blizzard is a storm with winds at least 35 miles per hour, and lasts more than two hours. Blizzards can cause white out conditions.

Thunderstorms are created with cumulonimbus clouds. Inside of those clouds the winds can reach up to 100 miles per hour. Thunderstorms can cause flooding which kills more people per year than lightning. Lightning causes many fires around the world. Dry thunderstorms are big reason for wildfires.

Thank you for listening to my essay about blizzards, thunderstorms, hurricanes and tornadoes. Extreme weather can happen anywhere and anytime.  Be careful.
